Community Experiences opens the doors of The Sarasota Ballet to underrepresented audiences by removing barriers to the performing arts. Opportunities include backstage tours, talkbacks, lecture demonstrations, complimentary or discounted tickets, and performances in unique community settings. With continually expanding community partnerships, The Sarasota Ballet is inspired to broaden these offerings while cultivating long-term, invested audiences.
Curated performances by The Sarasota Ballet’s Studio Company and the Margaret Barbieri Conservatory celebration ballet’s history while sharing the art form’s beauty. These community performances allow our dancers to interact with attendees within unconventional spaces each year.
Each season, we aim to impact 1,500-2,000 community members through community performances.
